HISTORY

Coombridge & Alexander was founded in the late 1940's by Wilf Coombridge & Johnny Alexander. The two farmers began making gates and fence posts and progressed into agricultural machinery. Over the next twenty years they manufactured thousands of SAM hay loaders bale sweeps and various types of trailers. The business was bought in the mid 1980's by John Coombridge and has continued to grow it's product range. SAM spreaders, feed wagons and trailers are now the main manufactured items. They now occupy four factories close to the original site in this 1950's picture.
