Can I buy direct from C&A?
The staff at C&A are available for advice on all aspects of SAM machinery, however they sell exclusively through retail outlets. Some of which are listed under dealers.
Who do I contact for spare parts?
Either your local farm machinery dealer, or C & A direct.
What are the highest and lowest rates my spreader will handle?
Spreading rates are determined by the door height setting and the spreader spacing widths. The chart on the machine gives basic settings, with a more detailed spreadsheet in the instruction book giving rates for various densities of product.

Will an 800mm wide mat sow poultry manure?
Yes it will sow all poultry and pig manure as well as all chemical fertilisers.
Should my new SAM Spreader be hooked to double or single acting hydraulics?
All SAM Spreader manufactured after June 2003 should be hooked to double acting hydraulics.
What testing is carried out on SAM Spreaders?
Coombridge & Alexander undertake regular product testing, using Ag Cal New Zealand Ltd who are responsible for Spreadmark testing in New Zealand. The co-efficient of variation's obtained in these tests is well within Spreadmark guidelines. Reports can be obtained from Coombridge & Alexander.
Can We get Load Weigh Cells on SAM Spreaders?
Coombridge & Alexander now have available a four loadcell system as an extra on any of the spreaders. The package includes either a simple on machine display or a more sophisticated in tractor display. The in tractor display incorporates a hectare meter to show rates per hectare area covered etc.
